Private Equity Administrator

Our client, an international leader in the financial services sector, with a legacy of outstanding service for over a century, is seeking to recruit a Private Equity Administrator.

Responsibilities

Maintain critical background knowledge of entities worked on.
Deal with investor queries in an efficient and timely manner.
Process purchase and Sale of Investments.
Implement approval process effectively.
Review documentation and record maintenance.
Implement payment / receipt of funds procedure.
Record receipt of documents of title and able to reconcile on a timely basis.
Record the receipt of funds.
Understands purpose of holding companies
Prepare asset reconciliations.
Liaise with senior staff on complex transactions.
Understand cash management procedures for specific entities.
Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis.
Liaise with financial institutions receiving or making payment of funds
Prepare cash reports on a monthly basis.
Maintain an understanding of the call/distribution process.
Calculate the call/distribution amounts for recommendation by client.
Liaise with client and investors regarding receipt/payment of monies.
Review and maintain records.
Understand Company Secretarial Procedures, prepare and review the company minutes and agenda.
Maintain an understating of Transfer of shares or Limited Partnership Interests and the process applicable to the entity
Understand anti-money laundering regulations and how to maintain records.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in administration. Applicants with experience in Funds or Private Equity as well as a working knowledge of Guernsey Company & Regulatory Issues will be preferred but this is not essential. Applicants will possess solid IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional time management and organisation. This role will suit a proactive and detailed team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
