Our client, a specialist in wealth management are seeking to recruit a Private Client Director.

Actively develop and maintain relationships with demanding, complex and/or ultra-high net worth clients, intermediaries and internal contacts in order to provide a quality service and provide best possible client offering and maximise returns to the Group as a whole.
Promote the highest quality of trust and company administration in order to minimise business risk and to encourage a culture of compliance with policies, appropriate risk management, and the principle of treating customers fairly.
Meet financial and non-financial targets as agreed with the Team Leader in order to maintain a sustainable fiduciary business.
Act as a technician and expert point of reference for the team and to support the development of team members.
Act as individual director of client companies where necessary.
Conduct appraisal interviews and agree personal development plans.
Conduct interviews and recruitment of personnel.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of your personal fiduciary responsibility in order to protect the client, yourself, the team and the business.
Encourage a culture of upholding the Group values and act as a role model to the team.
Contribute and achieve personal and team targets reviewing at monthly intervals throughout the year with Team Leader
Work within team to help identify areas for improvement.
Support team and act as back up where required.
Contribute to the strategic direction of Fiduciary Services. To instil within the team the importance of meeting financial and non-financial targets that have been agreed by the business, and achieving the Groups goals and objectives.
Develop and sustain a broad technical knowledge across products and services of the Bank to ensure business is supported.
Update personal knowledge of intermediary/wealth management market, ensuring that the reputation of the Group is upheld to the highest level possible in terms of compliance and reputation internally and externally and to give continuous consideration to treating customers fairly.
Attend client meetings as required and maintain full, accurate files/notes of all meetings/calls/conversations using Group systems to store.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to minimum A Level standard, with good English and Math. Candidates will possess 10 years or more experience in a Senior role within a Trust and Company environment and hold a relevant professional qualification such STEP (Offshore Trust Management), STEP (England and Wales Trusts and Estates), Associate of Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers, IFS, Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration, ICSA, ACCA or ACA. Candidates will demonstrate a range of experience and knowledge in Trust and Company Administration and Regulation, in addition to solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
