This Channel Island Insurance Specialist is ideally seeking an experienced Personal Lines Manager but would also happily consider someone looking for a step up into this position.

Responsibilities
Identify and actively coach staff.Undertake monthly one-to-one employee meetings and audits against set KPIs.
Maintain and improve customer service levels.
Assist in actively trying to bring on new business, sharing new ideas and working to back up the ideas.
Promote and maintain a detailed knowledge of the GFSC rules and the AIR Code of Conduct.
Report on all performance of the department as required by the board.
Understand the complaints process and stand as first port of call for any escalated cases.
Manage insurer relationships across all personal lines and provides feedback to the board of Directors.
Update all systems with adequate information to assist in claims management, complaints, insurer audits and any compliance issues that may arise.
Report to the board of Directors and identify any areas where the company can improve.
Review and assess the main insurance products to ascertain if pricing and suitability is still current and correct for what the business needs.
Manage workloads and identify any areas where improvements to efficiencies can be made.
Assist with Personal Lines' and Brokers' calls to assist in the smooth running of the department.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a managerial position and demonstrate good people skills. Applicants with Cert CII qualifications or similar will be desirable, however, this is not essential. The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of industry standards, and will regularly display and share knowledge. The role will suit a proactive individual, with a willingness to continue learning, a can-do attitude and excellent leadership abilities.How To Apply
