Due to growth within the company, our client is looking to recruit a Junior Support Analyst with at least 1 years' experience and a willingness to learn to provide additional support to their busy team.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Undertaking 1st and 2nd line technical support and answering support queries via phone, email, and face to face contact in a timely manner.
Building and installing new computer and computer related equipment for the end user.
Maintaining the meeting room equipment as needed.
Ensuring that all calls are logged appropriately, both internally and externally.
Helping maintain the IT knowledge base of problems and issues and their resolution in the call logging system.
Understanding Anti-Virus applications and basic Cyber Security.
Providing support to users in their ongoing use of the computer equipment by providing any necessary additional training and advice as required.
Arranging for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in house.
Providing support with allocating more complex calls to the relevant IT team member.

Skills / Qualifications

Previous Helpdesk experience is preferable, with a good working knowledge of basic printer maintenance, PC and laptop hardware set-up and configuration and Microsoft based operating systems primarily on Windows 10, along with experience of LAN and WAN concepts, effective communication skills with all levels of staff, an organised ands driven approach and the ability to maintain accurate records, document procedures and keep them up to date are essential to the role. Training will be provided in all systems.
