If you have 2 or more years' experience of working in a compliance capacity, ideally within a regulated fiduciary firm, with a high level of client and service orientation you may be ideal for this role.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Supporting the Compliance Director in acting as the firm's principal point of contact.
Providing support in dealing with other jurisdictional regulatory authorities.
Assisting and maintaining the firm's compliance policy framework.
Coordinating the annual review of High Risk (including PEP) clients and presenting the results to local and divisional business acceptance committees.
Identifying relevant proposed regulatory changes and working with the Compliance Director to prepare for its impact.
Assisting with the overall effectiveness of the control systems and monitoring framework of the business, including all proposed 'compliance' recommendations.
Ensuring the execution and maintenance of a suitable Compliance Monitoring Plan.
Coordinating and assisting where necessary, to ensure all staff are trained and coached in matters related to compliance and regulatory requirements.
Supporting (as nominated officer) internal suspicious activity reports and submitting external suspicious activity reports.
Preparing the quarterly compliance reporting and MLRO reporting to the board.
Assisting with the monthly compliance reporting to the Guernsey Management Committee.

Skills / Qualifications

Proven analytical skills, with a quick grasp and excellent communication skills, together with a hands on and detailed orientated approach and a team orientated personality are essential to the role.
