HR Manager

Our client a financial services provider, focused on fund administration for an international network of clients, is seeking to recruit an HR Manager.

Responsibilities

Advise the Directors and Senior Managers on employee relations such as grievance, disciplinary and dismissal.
Provide expertise and input into the effective management of the annual performance reviews.
Identify and manage potential risk and develop proposals to manage issues effectively.
Advise on local employment and immigration/housing controls.
Prepare and manage Guernsey headcount budgets.
Prepare business cases for recruitment authorisations.
Develop effective resourcing strategies in the Guernsey market.
Manage relationships with local recruiters and colleges to develop employer brand awareness.
Assist Directors in candidate selection and manage offers of employment.
Prepare and update job descriptions as required.
Review, implement and tailor the Estera onboarding program.
Identify training requirements source and work with other departments to source and deliver.
Manage and report any exceptions regarding the payroll process.
Evaluate salary and benefits benchmarking reports and manage accordingly.
Collaborate with Finance and Group HR to produce accurate local budgets including training, recruitment and employee welfare.
Manage and monitor budgets throughout the year.
Collaborate with HR Managers within the UK and European Estera offices to ensure HR polices and procedures are aligned where possible.
Assume responsibility for projects and identify any developments for the HR operating platform.
Any ad-hoc duties that maybe reasonably requested.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a CIPD qualification or equivalent together with extensive HR experience. Applicants will possess a good working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office applications and will be conversant with Guernsey legislation such as housing, tax and employment. This role would suit an individual with outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills with the propensity to develop brand awareness
