HR Advisor

Our client, a large and thriving online gaming company, is seeking to recruit a HR Advisor.

Responsibilities

Provide confidential advice on a broad range of HR matters mostly relating to company policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment and employee benefits.
Deal with employee relations issues and provide support to line managers across the business.
Take the lead in employee induction for HR and regarding new starter induction and development actions.
Advise on performance management activities and resolutions.
Assist with bi annual performance management process.
Support director and department heads with policy development/ implementation and ensure policies are updated in line with changes in employment law.
Conduct exit interviews, analyse trends and give management feedback.
Support annual employee engagement process.
Ownership of Housing License process.
Assist with annual pay review process.
Mentor and provide development opportunities for the office secretary.
Complete any ad hoc duties.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard and either hold or be studying towards a CIPD qualification, preference will be given to candidates who have experience in a similar role. Applicants will have strong IT skills and a working knowledge of UK and Guernsey employment legislation and practise. The successful candidate will have solid communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. This role will suit a strong interpersonal team player with an investigative and analytical outlook.
