FTC- Risk Reviewer

This is a 6 month fixed term contract for a Risk Reviewer to conduct periodic reviews within the trust department, ensuring robust risk management practices and compliance with local and international regulatory standards.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Conducting risk assessments of clients and ensuring appropriate levels of screening to comply with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Monitoring client business practices, codes of practice, and adherence to internal policies, Guernsey laws, and relevant international standards.
Reviewing customer due diligence (CDD) to ensure it is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations and company policies.
Identifying and managing potential risks or breaches promptly and effectively.
Providing support with other ad hoc duties as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of trust and company law, fiduciary principles, and regulatory requirements. They should be familiar with industry best practices and developments in other jurisdictions and ideally hold or be pursuing a relevant trust qualification.
