If you have considerable fund experience, a strong academic background, a willingness to undertake further study and a knowledge of basic bookkeeping requirements, this 6 month assignment could be ideal for you.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Duties for this placement will include, but will not be limited to:

Liaising with the investment advisor, fund directors, accountants, bankers and other related entities as required in order to administer the funds and ensuring the smooth day to day operation of the funds.
Calculating and paying all fees and expenses on behalf of the funds and arranging approval and payment of all fund invoices received.
Ensuring that the funds’ cash is held in accordance with the scheme particulars and arranging the transfer of funds for investment purchases and distributions within the required deadlines.
Reviewing the cash position, ensuring that funds are available to cover all payments due out of the account.
Assisting with the arrangement and coordination of board meetings as required, including assisting with the production of agendas, board packs and assisting with Directors’ arrangements.
Ensuring that the bookkeeping and accounting arising from all transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills / Qualifications

Solid IT skills and the ability to confidently communicate with colleagues at all levels in the company is essential, and those with previous exposure to private equity would be beneficial, as would those with a working knowledge of pivot tables.
