Responsibilities

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Interacting with various stakeholders.
Holding responsibility for the delivery of a high-quality service, ensuring that all client service standards are met in accordance to the KPIs.
Supporting the dedicated banking and treasury team in its banking and treasury functions.
Providing support in company secretarial matters including but not limited to the preparation of share certificates, corporate action schedules and notifications forms, and liaison with client, custodians and trustees.
Producing, updating and reviewing NAV files and other related files on a monthly basis.
Ensuring that client bank and cashbooks are kept up to date and performing monthly bank reconciliations.
Holding responsibility for introducing and maintaining appropriate accounting reconciliations and controls framework to ensure companies under supervision are always compliant.
Developing and maintaining knowledge of company matters.
Attending Board Meetings, including the presentation of accounting and investment matters.
Reviewing monthly internal accounts.
Assisting with revenue and expenses forecasting and providing support to annual budgeting procedures.
Liaising with tax and statutory audit teams.
Providing support with the preparation of Board papers.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess or be in the process of achieving a relevant professional qualification along with a minimum of 3 years' experience within an accounting environment. They will have company secretarial and compliance knowledge, an understanding of insurance accounting and good general knowledge of industry products, regulations and developments. Previous banking and payment experience and effective communication skills with people at all levels, along with a comprehensive working knowledge of accountancy, business and IT software is essential to this role.
