Our client, a growing retail group with a large online presence, is seeking to recruit a Digital Designer.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Working from scamps or, on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work.
Designing exciting artwork for promotional campaigns across websites, web banners, social media channels and email newsletters.
Working collaboratively with the creative team, UX or Developers to deliver digital output of the highest quality and to brief.
Designing, managing and up keeping creative assets.
Any other duties commensurate to the post as requested by the Line Manager or a Director.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for user-centered design and have experience of responsive UI/UX design, image optimisation web for optimal performance, designing websites, promotional emails, interfaces and digital campaigns (including banners, microsites) and managing multiple creative tasks and projects simultaneously. The successful applicant will have a detailed understanding of how digital design is built using HTML & CSS, have extensive expertise of Adobe Creative Suite (this could include After Effects and Illustrator), with experience of Content Management Systems. Candidates will have detailed knowledge of complex Photoshop file construction, labeling and versioning and will demonstrate their ideas to senior members of the team in scamp form before starting production and take and act upon constructive and creative feedback in a rational and professional manner. The role will suit a dynamic individual with exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, able to establish good working relationships and the ability to demonstrate understanding of digital typography, layout, colour and grid structures whilst working under tight deadlines.
