Our client, a large group with an international presence and wide-ranging expertise specialising in life insurance based wealth management and employee benefit solutions to a global audience, is seeking to recruit a Customer Due Diligence Associate for the Customer Services Department.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Review existing Corporate business on file Client Due Diligence, with referral to internal AML rules, guidelines, and terms of business requirements.
Extract up to date CDD and transfer to a separate file location.
Perform company searches.
Log deficiencies and completeness.
Support Manager with regard to preparing and conducting client communications as required, including responses to questions and monitoring completeness.
Input additional data requirements to include allocation of relevant risk assessment specifics.
Obtain additional information required in conjunction with the Customer Service, Regional and Operational teams.
Plan deliverables with Manager and provide Management Information/Progress versus plan.
Escalate issues accordingly to Management.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with English and Maths at Grade C or above. Candidates will possess considerable experience with AML or CDD, preferably within a prior Compliance based role. Applicants will display solid IT abilities, strong organisation, time management and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem solving, influencing and negotiating skills, as well as the ability to make sound and objective decisions whilst working to deadlines. This role will suit a motivated and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
