Our client a specialist in wealth management, operational in 11 countries across the globe, is seeking to recruit a Credit Manager for the Credit Risk Department.

Analyse new client credit proposals submitted by the business along with renewal Credit applications.
Approve proposals if they are within own authority or seek approval by higher authority.
Aim to deal with new requests with 48 hours of receipt.
Work closely with Credit Advisory where necessary and provide guidance and feedback on new/potential lending request.
Ensure that any MI under the approvals team control is completed accurately, such as approvals dashboard and Renewals trackers.
Provide cover for tasks undertaken by other Managers in the Credit Risk Team as required.
Review and assess Credit Applications recommended by the business.
Use Personal Approval Authority to approve requests within delegated limits.
Analysis and recommend decision to higher authority if beyond personal delegated limits.
Ensure compliance with the Banks Credit Risk Policies are adhered to or where exceptions requested these are sufficiently mitigated and acceptable.
Be aware of the Banks Risk Appetite and consider when making/recommending decisions.
Act as first point of contact with Risq Paris for any queries relating to files sent for approval.
Assist with ad hoc data/MI requests received by Credit Risk as required.
Ensure accurate data collection re Credit Risk aspects of Approvals Dashboard & Renewal Tracker.
Identify any Problem Accounts that come to light and work with Problem Debt Manager, CRMor Credit Advisory to ensure these are correctly dealt with.
Establish and maintain good working relationship with Credit Advisory and act as SME for Credit Risk Issues.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to an A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Maths. Candidates will possess considerable experience in a Private Bank and hold a relevant professional qualification. Candidates will demonstrate a range of experience and knowledge in Lending to Private Banking, Regulatory Lending, Credit, Banking, Real Estate & Lombard Lending, in addition to solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
