Contract Test and Migration Manager

Our client, a non-finance group, is seeking to recruit a Contract Test and Migration Manager for a period of 15 months.




Report to the Billing Programme Manager.
Act as Test and Migration Manager during the billing and CRM replacement project.
Manage the testing workstreams including, identification and documentation of the business requirements.
Map the business processes to these requirements, definition, development and execution of a project test strategy as well as the definition, development and execution of appropriate test cases to ensure the compliance of the target system to business requirements.
Produce regular reports on the status of each of the relevant test phases.
Test workstreams to cover all business requirements, including functional, non-functional, such as system performance, system availability, failover and the successful integration of the replacement system.
Manage the data migration workstreams to migrate all required data from the legacy systems to the selected replacement billing and CRM system.
Oversee the workstreams that cover dynamic and static data including, customer accounts, hierarchies, subscriptions, products, offers and historic billing, payment and financial data as well as offer catalogues, bundles, products, packages, contracts or any other data required for the successful migration to the target system.
Maintain responsibility for cleansing the data on the current system and acceptance testing the data migration.
Contribute to the ongoing Business Process redefinition activity, ensuring that business processes can be mapped to new system requirements, and subsequently to individual test cases.
Create and manage a central requirements matrix.
Produce the overall business Test Strategy for Executive Review and Approval.
Lead the workshop sessions for Data Migration.
Agree with the selected vendor the Data Migration strategy and publish for Executive Review and Approval.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good academic background, with considerable experience in a relevant role. Applicants will demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent organisation techniques. The successful candidate will provide an efficient and professional service. This role will suit a proactive and self-motivated team player with solid interpersonal skills.
