Our client a specialist in wealth management, operational in 11 countries across the globe, is seeking to recruit a dynamic and proactive go getter for a 12 month contract within their Settlements Team.

Responsibilities

Review the custodian agent reports each morning, ensuring that all trades are matched.
Contact brokers and clients when there are settlement problems.
Prepare and input trades, ensuring the accuracy of the contact details and settlement instructions.
STP of Olympic generates SWIFT instructions via Aqua for all settlement exchanges.
Review cash agent’s reconciliation to ensure all sales process have been received and investigate any outstanding funds, regarding trades.
Tie up SWIFT acknowledgements to the trades.
Pull trades out from the diary daily.
Check trades have settled.
Chase late settlements.
Report any late settlements to the supervisor.
Carry out general administration tasks, such as answer queries, file trades in diary pending settlement, perform valuations and schedule of securities and dip trades on competition.
Chase missing tickets and contract notes.
Open and maintain various broker and custodial accounts to facilitate day to day business.
Create and maintain settlement templates in related trade management systems.
Check and clear daily exception reports.
Clear outstanding items from depot and cash recs.
Prepare cash and depot recs for distribution to the team.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Maths. Candidates will possess considerable experience a relevant role. Candidates will possess solid IT abilities, strong organisation and time management in addition to excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and to strict deadlines. This role will suit a dynamic, driven and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
