Do you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in general administration obtained with a major fund administrator, trust company or investment manager and are you looking to undertake further study in a supportive environment? If yes, this could be the ideal 3 to 6 month assignment.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Assisting and supervising the collection of Customer Due Diligence.
Ensuring counterpart take on procedure including collection or CRS and FATCA data.
Assisting with Inputting or reviewing of input for counterparts entered on PFS-Paxus.
Where an external party acts as registrar, liaising with that party to ensure that records are consistent.
Issuing contract notes in accordance with offering documents and relevant regulatory requirements.
Ensuring share registration transactions are produced in accordance with procedures in a timely manner.
Communicating to Fund Managers upcoming subscriptions and redemptions in a timely manner to assist with Manager cash management.
Maintaining contact by telephone, in writing and at meetings with clients and intermediaries and keeping records of all communications.
Liaising with auditors and providing information for annual audits.
Maintaining all corporate records in a secure manner.
Supervising with billing, fee collection and helping accounts staff in the preparation of management and financial accounts.
Providing all day-to-day administration and management of clients.
Assisting with the preparation and review of cash management and underlying fund investments where required for funding investor redemption payments.
Undertaking bookkeeping and reconciliation of client bank and broker accounts.
Utilising on-line banking facilities to make transfers and payments where applicable.
Providing support with client reporting and liaison.
Assisting with the training and development of junior members of staff.
Delegating work whenever possible to junior members of staff and supervising the timely and accurate completion of the work carried out.
Carrying out annual appraisals and monthly objective meetings with junior members of staff.

Skills / Qualifications

A willingness to study for the International Diploma in Financial Administration (IDFA) or equivalent, with proven and effective communication skills, along with high accuracy and attention to detail and strong IT skills in particular with Microsoft Office, Cezanne, eDocs, EMX and PFS-Paxus are essential to the role.
