Our client, a large and successful finance company, is seeking to recruit a Contract Private Banking Assistant for a period of 6 months.

Provide administrative support to Private Bankers, complete required paperwork and record maintenance, assist with the administration of various client reviews, respond to client queries and provide administrative co-ordination with all areas of the bank.
Use time effectively, balancing own workload with the use of other resources to deliver high quality service.
Work effectively and successfully within the team and corporate framework.
Perform all duties in accordance with the principles outlined in the Group Code of Conduct as well as the policies and procedures, to ensure a culture that treats clients fairly and focuses on the long-term sustainability of client relationships.
Manage incoming client mail, calls and referrals.
Track all incoming client queries along with actions arising from client meetings and calls.
Respond to all client valuation, statement or audit requests.
Track routine client reporting processes and escalate with bankers as necessary.
Ensure that all client engagement documentation is recorded appropriately on client files within strategic archive.
Obtain reports for all clients on issues arising at client touch points outside of Private Banking.
Monitor key processes and client service levels for all clients validating compliance time and quality targets.
Coordinate all client service remediation activities, including calls and letters to client.
Manage client file details and ensure remediation of all incomplete KYC data.
Process stock transitions/transfers.
Follow client instructions for money transmission, standing orders and payment processing, including engagement on sanctions checks.
Monitor client debit and credit balances and take appropriate action where necessary.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a background in banking or considerable finance experience to transfer solid administration and client services skills from, such as Funds or Trust, and will preferably hold a professional qualification. Applicants will be confident in being the main point of contact for clients, being reactive to their needs, exercising excellent communication skills and contributing to the dedicated client service team, as well as applying strong IT knowledge. This role will suit a highly adaptable, organised and motivated individual who approaches tasks with effective prioritisation, time management and team work abilities, consistently applying attention to detail.
