Contract Middle Office Administrator

Our client, a private bank, requires a Contract Middle Office Administrator for a period of 12 months.




Open new accounts and undertake the required checks, including the approval of low risk accounts packs.
Enter account information onto the internal system and input any data amendments or updates.
Ensure that all required documentation is completed and archived correctly.
Confirm that the Welcome Letters have been produced and sent out to new clients.
Ensure that the Client Relationship Managers have been notified and action the appropriate bank procedures post account opening.
Perform client residency checks for E-Banking.
Monitor and administer the periodic client reviews and prepare management information.
Collate required documentation for dashboard reports and identify any issues.
Process payments, collect fees and set up debtors.
Monitor all corporate actions to ensure that all instructions are received by the deadlines.
Check that mandates are held for all retained mail clients.
Reconcile vault contents on a regular basis and conduct spot checks.
Monitor inactive, dormant and deceased accounts.
Maintain the Group Middle Office common guidelines, methodology and procedures manual.
Ensure smooth communication and operations flow between the Front and Back Offices.
Facilitate ad hoc requests relating to private banking reporting and new product development.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have some experience within a finance environment and an understanding of legal/regulatory requirements, business processes and banking operations. This role will suit an organised, reliable and analytical team player who is able to build effective working relationships, displaying good communication and time management skills.
