Our client, a specialist in wealth management, operational in 11 countries across the globe, requires a Contract Document Imaging Administrator for their Banking Operations Team for a period of 6 months.

Responsibilities

Provide all aspects of support for Banking Operations, including authorisation of outward client payments, input and authorisation of all inward client receipts, investigation of breaks in payments and queries resolution.
Check accuracy of all items input over the bank's systems, authorise and ensure all necessary audit procedures have been complied with.
Provide support to colleagues, sharing information and offering assistance when needed.
Assist in the preparation and production of non-routine reports, letters and documents, undertaking research data and collection.
Investigate complaints, queries and problems from internal and external customers and suppliers, digging deeper to understand the underlying issues and acting to ensure they are appropriately addressed.
Check and review own work for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors.
Identify issues and problems with data, service quality, internal processes and procedures.
Ensure adherence to internal controls' standards, systems and procedures.
Assist with review of processes, procedures and systems, in conjunction with the team to ensure that opportunities for improvement are recognised and acted upon and changing customer needs are met.
Monitor nostro and suspense accounts and investigate any differences ensuring breaks and no breaches incurred.
Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures.
Communicate with wider business to ensure standard settlement instructions and bank details for receipt of payments are up to date and in use, minimising unapplied funds.
Work with FNZ to improve processing of payments and minimise payment breaks.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ wealth management experience and will have worked in a similar role in a complex financial services organisation for 3 years. Candidates with previous middle or back office experience and proven banking experience will be desirable. The successful applicant will have technical system process knowledge and product knowledge, in particular banking, with experience of working in a structure which utilities complex vendor arrangements. The role will suit a highly numerate and enthusiastic individual, who is driven, customer-focused, with strong negotiation, organisation and time management skills.
