Our client requires a Contract Customer Support Officer to work full time on a shift rota basis to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays until 31st October 2019.

Responsibilities

Act as a single point of contact for the customer, providing end to end support in an accurate, professional and timely manner by phone, email, web chat and social media.
Offer support with giving a first contact resolution on issues/questions for all products wherever possible.
Undertake training to operate all systems in the contact support centre in order to resolve such customer inquiries.
Record, interrogate and diagnose customer issues/faults for all General services, providing information or a first call resolution when possible to decide upon and implement correct procedures to ensure a solution.
Assist with taking payments and resolving customers normal billing enquiries.
Manage conference calls and bureau services.
Provide an excellent customer experience by advising and actively promoting products and services.
Proactively inform the CTIO engineering team and products team of any major customer affecting issues as they emerge in a timely manner.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a technical role, will be eager and quick to learn new skills and technologies and appreciate the telecommunications market. Applicants will be willing to work outside of normal working hours to provide customer focused support shifts, produce accurate and good quality work and will demonstrate an interest in current and future technology. The successful candidate will have excellent customer focus, a superb telephone manner and excellent communication, IT, relationship, networking and listening skills. The role will suit a cheerful and optimistic team player who works well independently when required, is calm and controlled under pressure, with the ability to use their initiative to tackle a broad range of problems.
