Our client, a provider of administration of trust, company and foundation structures for both private and corporate clients, is seeking to recruit an Contract Client Accountant for a period of 3 months.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Produce internal WIP reports, in relation to own portfolio of clients and keep systems updated with the relevant codes, ensuring that accurate information is available for management reporting purposes.
Liaise with clients, staff and third parties and intermediaries where necessary to resolve queries.
Prepare accounts, in line with scheduled dates, to a high standard with minimum supervision.
Review the bookkeeping and identify and report any missing, or omitted information required.
Liaise with officers, to ensure that the completed information is received.
Produce relevant monthly and quarterly management accounts, for clients from current systems.
Undertake the bookkeeping, on some of the more complex issues accurately and efficiently.
Complete time sheets on a daily basis, to ensure that clients are billed for time expended.
Carry out any other ad hoc tasks, or projects as requested by the line manager.
Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold, or will be working towards a relevant professional qualification, coupled with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, with a comprehensive knowledge of accounts production and an understanding of the concept. Applicants will have excellent IT skills and an ability to demonstrate skill set across the spectrum of the business systems. The successful candidate will be an organised team player, with good organisational and time management skills, who maintains good business practices, working with limited supervision.
