Our client requires a Contract CDD Associate until the end of December 2019.

Responsibilities

Performing AML/CDD reviews and risk assessments in relation to multi-jurisdictional trigger events for individuals and corporates.
Ensuring all AML/CDD requirements are adequately completed as per regulatory requirements and internal AML guidelines, adopting a risk based approach where relevant.
Adhering to tight deadlines and service levels, ensuring timely execution of each case whilst adhering to our customer service expectations.
Understanding and adhering to our AML Guide, internal policies, processes, procedures and the GFSC (Guernsey Financial Services Commission) Handbook, keeping up to date with various changes and amendments.
Performing or reviewing enhanced due diligence searches, via the web or other means for verification and AML purposes where required.
Ensuring that variations have been suitably authorized by Operational Management.
Monitoring and recording case statistics and success criteria.
Managing and monitoring workloads, including the case management progress verses plan.
Identifying risks and escalating accordingly, via the determined channels.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a compliance or customer focused operational environment within the financial services sector. Applicants with life assurance products experience will be preferred. It is essential to have AML and CDD experience, including CRS expertise in relation to trigger events or on-boarding business. The role will suit a highly organised individual with proven communication skills and good IT skills, in particular Excel, Word and CRM.
