Our client requires a Contract Customer and Business Support Administrator for a period of 6 months.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Offer support with the management and reporting of customer feedback and research, and the company's performance in providing a high quality customer service.
Process incoming data and correspondence from internal and external customers/suppliers regularly and accurately, including storage and archiving.
Manage and maintain databases as requested to meet service needs, ensuring information is entered consistently, accurately and in line with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Contribute to the efficient running of the business by providing administrative support, such as organising meetings and scheduling employee tasks.
Deal effectively with internal and external customers, including routine enquiries from members of the public, receiving and responding to incoming communication (e.g. general telephone calls, emails and letters) and to resolve general enquiries at first point of contact, wherever possible.
Provide a professional telephone service to customers and external suppliers in accordance with internal service standards and to ensure a timely response and professional service.
Work flexibly across the directorate and provide support and cover to other Business Support and Customer Support employees as required.
Be aware of and comply with local legislation, specifically related to Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and Data Protection.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to report updates and information to teams. Applicants should have good communication and people skills, and value the importance of delivering a good customer experience and customer services. In addition to attention to detail and a level of accuracy with data entry, the successful candidate will have a confident and professional telephone manner and a good understanding of confidentiality and data protection. If you are a team player with good interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, our client would like to hear about you.
