Our client is looking for a Contract Administrator for a period of 1 year, hours are negotiable but essentially are 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Assisting with weekly indexing of Court documents.
Drafting Oaths, Powers of Attorney, Deeds of Renunciation, Power Reserved statements, letters and accounts plus amending and engrossing Court documents.
Undertaking daily filing.
Sending out post and recording in the post book.
Opening incoming mail, date stamping and recording in the post book.
Assisting with photocopying and archiving as needed.
Undertaking general office duties.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate would be able to deal with people in an extremely sensitive manner, both over the phone and face to face. Knowledge of legal practices would be beneficial, but not essential as training specific to this area will be provided. The candidate will need to be methodical in their approach to work, have sound mathematical and keyboard skills, broad knowledge of the Microsoft Office suites and an excellent command of English. The role will suit a patient and professional individual with a good sense of humour and an excellent telephone manner. The successful candidate will have no contentious religious opinions and be able to work under pressure.
