Our client an international advisory and financial support group, is seeking to recruit a Compliance Administrator.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Conduct compliance monitoring activities, in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
Assess levels of adequate compliance and produce compliance review reports, for senior management.
Encourage staff to comply with regulations and standards and provide advice and guidance on good practice within a regulated environment.
Undertake and review due diligence, in relation to structures and changes to existing structures.
Scrutinise, interrogate and update compliance records, in relation to client structures.
Liaise with the systems analyst to run reports and check data entry records.
Respond to internal queries, regarding compliance issues.
Liaise with internal contacts regarding the production of compliance reports.
Train staff, in relation to the compliance function within the company.
Undertake training in respect of compliance and risk evaluation, in order to improve knowledge and skills and maintain current of knowledge.
Identify and investigate issues or trends, which may adversely affect business compliance and propose necessary actions to promote improvement.
Carry out risk assessments for client structures.
Act as authorised signatory, in respect of risk assessments.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a good academic background, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fiduciary compliance role. Preference will be given to candidates who hold, or are studying towards a professional qualification in Compliance/AML, or have experience in Pensions, or Trust & Company Administration. Applicants will have a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Email, along with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and diligent team player, with excellent organisation and analytical skills.
