Our client a well-established financial group, providing excellent quality and service to institutional and private clients, is seeking to recruit a Company Secretary, to join their Corporate Team.

Responsibilities

Providing a high level of professional service to a varied portfolio of client relationships and attending to corporate structures.
Preparing for and attending Board meetings.
Drafting Board meeting agenda, minutes and written resolutions.
Assisting the company Boards in ensuring good governance.
Ensuring that appropriate Stock Exchange announcements and disclosures are made.
Undertaking daily administrative duties, such as opening client bank accounts, preparing payments and processing client take on, amongst other tasks.
Delivering timely, accurate and concise communications.
Communicating with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
Managing and recording time accurately and efficiently.
Adhering to operating procedures and internal policies.
Assisting and mentoring team members where required.
Working with the Senior Manager, to address and resolve any issues and exceptions.
Carrying out any other duties, as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a general corporate administration, funds or private equity environment and a good understanding of corporate regulatory requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who are ICSA qualified, or equivalent and / or have experience dealing with companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, or other exchanges. Our client offers the right candidate financial assistance and study leave, to individuals wishing to further their studies in relevant areas. Applicants will demonstrate sound working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and a good grasp of English, both oral and written. The successful candidate will be highly organised and flexible, displaying strong problem solving and customer service skills. This role will suit a thorough and proactive team player, who prioritises workloads efficiently and who observes a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
