Our client, a financial services provider, across all types of funds, offering a bespoke client focused approach, is seeking to recruit a Company Secretarial Officer.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Keeping minute books.
Maintaining corporate statutory records.
Issuing EGM & AGM notices, proxy collation and recording.
Preparing and filing necessary returns with Guernsey Registry.
Arranging for certified registers, M&A, certificates of incorporation.
Coordinating the collation and issue of papers for board meetings.
Making any other arrangements for meetings such as, taxis, flights, venues and refreshments.
Booking boardrooms.
Taking accurate minutes, transcribing to final format.
Dealing with client mail shots.
Making announcements in accordance with stock exchange requirements.
Preparing and monitoring of team processes and procedures.

Skills / Qualifications

The role would suit someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial services Company Secretarial position and holds the ICSA qualification. Applicants will have fast typing skills, achieving high levels of accuracy and demonstrating a proficient level of MS Word and other Microsoft Office programmes. It is also essential, to have a good working knowledge of jurisdictional statutory regulations and requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and business partners. They will display the ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining high attention to detail. This role will suit a confident and proactive team player, with good organisation and time management skills, as well as the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work efficiently.
