Our client, an international and highly regarded wealth management firm, is seeking to recruit a Client Service Manager.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Taking responsibility for and leading new business onboarding / change management projects within the team with little to no guidance.
Supporting and providing MI reporting to the relevant governance forums.
Coordinating, undertaking and reporting upon onsite due diligence and client reviews – overnight travel may be required.
Deputising for the Head of Department when necessary.
Acting as a point of escalation within the business.
Undertaking A Signatory responsibilities across the business.
Working with the Guernsey Head and Product Development to ensure that all client technical advisory requirements are anticipated, responded to and validated.
Ensuring that all SLD requirements are monitored and met.
Keeping up to date with internal developments and Market developments in the Regulatory field.
Acting as staff manager for all direct reports.
Carrying out performance reviews in accordance with company policy for direct reports.
Encouraging and supporting a professional attitude amongst all direct reports.
Ensuring all servicing requirements are met and escalate any issues where appropriate.
Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of outsourced services.
Building a mutual trust with client and identify threats and opportunities and escalate as appropriate.
Keeping all operational procedures in line with expected risk requirements.
Being a team player and strong leader within the business.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience within the financial services industry, ideally within fund servicing or the custody sector. Applicant will hold a higher degree (MBO+) in accounting, economics or finance with a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as a member of a client services team. The successful candidate will have strong experience of client servicing and engagement, dealing confidently with clients, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports. The role will suit an innovative, client focused individual, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an analytical approach who works well under pressure and can demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and tenacity.
