This independent fund services firm which provides seamless secretarial and administration services to a wide range of investment structures, across multiple jurisdictions, is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join them.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Responsibility for managing risk in the team, by reviewing processes and ensuring that adequate controls are in place to mitigate risk.
Monitoring the control environment & culture to ensure that controls are effective and efficient.
Develop a detailed and in-depth understanding of the client’s business strategy, products & services and internal challenges, with a view to allowing the client to harness the power of the company's platform.
Develop a completed understanding of the client's products and client’s needs in respect of the client type.
Identify any value add/cross selling opportunities for the fund’s services and the wider firm and communicate those through to the regular business unit and business development meetings.
Develop a broad and up to date knowledge and awareness of financial markets, particularly in Guernsey.
Provide assistance to the ExCo with managing fees, fee collection and client profitability analysis.
Ensure that clients received the level of service as agreed in the Administration/Master Service Agreement.
Serving as the primary interface with the client and assist them in navigating the organisation and assist employees to understand and navigate the client environment.
Act as a point of escalation for clients.
Review and submit relevant regulatory submissions to the Guernsey Regulator and develop a deep understanding of policies, procedures and rules set out by the Guernsey Regulator.
Ensure that high risk incidents are reported and logged on Salesforce.
Attend the weekly meetings and all client board meetings.;
Act as director or alternate director to client boards (if required).
Drafting of policies and procedures.
Lead the take on (and off board) of clients - to include the relevant regulatory application to the Guernsey Regulator).
To act as Nominated Officer (if required).
Band “A” signatory.
Review WIP against Administration/Master Service agreements to determine increase/decrease in fees.
Draft Administration/Master Service Agreement for each new client.
Maintain professional working relationships with other departments.
To assist and oversee the day to day operational duties of the office.
Responsible for management of staff, to include performance reviews.
General support of staff members to include professional study.
Assist/Participate with Business Development.

Education Requirements

A relevant professional qualification (ICSA, ACCA) or at least 10 years’ experience in the Fund industry;

Technical Financial Services knowledge;

People management experience;

Prior experience of running large/multiple client relationships;

Possess proven planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities together with being able to work under pressure and communicate effectively.
