Are you well versed in the Guernsey legal and regulatory compliance processes?

Our client who provides a range of fund, corporate and fiduciary services in Guernsey, is seeking to recruit an On Boarding Administrator.

Responsibilities

Understand the on-boarding work flow of the business.
Take responsibility for the specific ‘work flow’ in the operating platform of the new business procedure.
Review and identify any gaps in processes of on-boarding for consideration by the Board.
Complete relationship risk assessments and establish the risk profile of the client entity.
Understand both activity and purpose of the new entity.
Liaise directly with the client to establish the take on requirements.
Identify which form and what information is required for all new CDD subjects.
Draft and send correspondence to request E/CDD information and documentation.
Evaluate suitability of E/CDD information and documentation.
Be engaged in the on-boarding process of any new client.
Input mandatory fields in operating system.
Update electronic and paper CDD files.
Create and update CDD structure charts for CDD subjects.
Correspond periodically with CDD subjects who are legal persons or legal arrangements to identify any changes to ownership structures.
Arrange a post take on meeting at 6 months for each entity to review status.
Input E/CDD aspects of Client Profiles including SoW and/or SoF details.
Maintain a schedule of Risk Reviews – depending on risk grading of each client.
Perform annual, semi-annual or every three years Risk Reviews on all entities pursuant to the above mentioned schedule.
Assist with any compliance related projects where necessary, such as CDD remediation.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role in a mid-level capacity in the financial sector, with an in depth knowledge of the Guernsey legal and regulatory compliance environment and a familiarity with the Jersey legal and regulatory compliance environment. The successful candidate will have proven interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management within the Group, as well as clients and third party service providers. The role will suit a professional, solution focused and self-sufficient individual who has the ability to achieve goals and deadlines whilst juggling different priorities.
