Our client is seeking to recruit an Assistant Tax Administrator.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Assist with the preparation of UK income tax and capital gains tax returns.
Offer support with Inheritance tax returns.
Provide support with tax reporting letters.
Ensure tax payments are made by the due dates.
Review trust and company accounts.
Respond to tax queries from the trust administers as they arise.
Initially provide support for the compliance work on a client portfolio, progressing to being responsible for own client portfolio.
Liaise with other departments within the group, as and when required.
Provide assistance in the quarterly billing process for all departmental clients.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A level standard and will be looking to start a career in Tax. The successful candidate will be willing to study towards professional relevant qualifications with the ability to work to deadlines. The role will suit a highly numerate individual who is a good team player and has a positive attitude. They will have solid IT skills and will be a proven communicator to people at all levels.
