Our client, a full service community bank and a provider of specialised international financial services, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager for the Risk team in the Trust Department.

Perform annual reviews on the customer base, ensuring completeness of administrative procedures and records.
Assist with the new business processes through the conducting of reviews, background checks and assessments on prospective customers, and conversely in connection existing customers.
Liaise on matters of risk and compliance with members of the central compliance department in connection with the customers, prospects and related entities.
Participate with ad hoc testing programmes, where the company is relying on third parties for information and documentation.
Assist with the preparation of various reports to the central compliance department, board, Group Risk, Senior Management Team, Regulatory Bodies and others, as appropriate to ensure correct data is maintained and recorded.
Monitor and track the closing cases and report to the ROR Committee.
Identify potential risk areas and generally ensure the highest fiduciary standards are maintained.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess minimum of 5 years’ experience in Trust and Company Administration and hold a relevant qualification such as STEP. Preference will be given to candidates with an in-depth knowledge of Guernsey AML Regulations, Trustee and Director Responsibilities and relevant laws in Offshore Jurisdictions. Candidates will possess strong IT abilities, excellent organisation and communication, as well as solid time management skills. This role will suit a highly motivated and proactive problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills.
