Our client is seeking to recruit an Assistant Relationship Manager - Fiduciary Banking, to act as the primary support point of contact in the relationship between a Relationship Manager the Bank and a designated portfolio of Fiduciary clients.

Receive instructions from clients in person, fax, letter or by telephone and carry these out directly or indirectly through the coordination of their completion by Banking Operations, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken for timely execution of the instructions.
Through day to day contact with clients and/or participation in coordinated team activities, seek opportunities to make referrals to the Relationship Manager who will position the Bank’s full range of products to the client; including Trust, Investment Management and Lending Services to assist in the achievement of the overall financial objectives and targets for the department.
Ensure the client accounts for whom the jobholder provides support to are remediated to the standards required by group minimum standards.
Prepare new account opening packages/documents for RMs as part of the client on boarding process.
Assist the Relationship Manager manage an entertainment schedule as appropriate for your client base to enhance and develop effective contacts and relationships and create opportunities for increased business.
Oversee the management processes for deposit and payment (swift transfer, cheque or draft) transactions, related foreign exchange and securities transactions to ensure that they are effective technically correct and completed without error and in good time as laid out within the procedure manual.
Maintain an up to date understanding of all applicable laws, regulations and Bank policies to enable the review and maintenance of department procedures and the effective implementation of these in day to day operations.
A high standard of relationship management/professional conduct should be adhered to at all times to avoid the loss of client relationships.
Ensure the avoidance of inappropriate contractual commitments or the setting of precedent the Assistant
Relationship Manager should not enter into any contract/agreement on behalf of the bank without management approval.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good background in a front office client support role with a minimum of seven year’s experience. Along with this they will have good project management skills and a track record in working within a team, strong user awareness of IT skills and a high degree of risk awareness and compliance orientation. They will require the ability to effectively support client relationships and to build relationships in conjunction with the Relationship Manager.
