Our client a new trust company focused on providing premium service to ultra-high net worth individuals, families and institutions, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager for their Family Office.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Supervising team members and providing technical support as required, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.
Reviewing trust deeds, company articles and legal agreements, to identify key clauses and terms.
Effecting investments and monitoring cash liquidity across structures.
Preparing and developing summaries, presentations and ad-hoc reporting as required, to assist with decision-making.
Liaising with advisors, lawyers and other external service providers.
Ensuring that CDD is up-to-date, supervising the release of appropriate CDD to other parties - effecting NDA/confidentiality agreements, as necessary.
Ensuring that fees are settled in a timely manner by the team, monitoring debtors.
Setting up work for new structures and dealing with restructurings.
Assisting with ad-hoc projects, new business proposals and take-ons.
Complying with internal policies and procedures, as well as assisting with its review and refinement.
Participating in occasional business travel.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ Trust and Company experience, complemented by a STEP or ICSA Diploma. Applicants will be IT literate, with supervisory and project management skills, as well as a good commercial awareness and general investment knowledge. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work using own initiative, prioritise own work and be flexible to changing business and departmental needs. This role will suit an analytical and dynamic problem solver, who contributes towards the risk control environment and is able to work both individually and as part of the team.
