Assistant Analyst

Our client, a leading independent exchange for a wide range of companies, providing pragmatic regulation and a responsive trading venue, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Analyst, for their Listings Team.




Scrutinising, reviewing and processing Listing Applications, in accordance with the Listing Rules.
Effecting the listing of further issues of securities, under the appropriate Chapters of the Listing Rules.
Completing partial redemptions of securities.
Liaising with sponsors in respect of Listing Applications via letters, telephone and email.
Overseeing ongoing Listing Applications and preparation of standard documentation, prior to admission to the Official List.
Enter Listing data into the Data Management System.
Carrying out ad-hoc projects as directed by the Manager, or Head of Listings; these may include assisting in the researching of new product areas, or technical matters.
Keeping up to date with technical matters to maintain and improve industry knowledge.
Assisting in the Risk, Regulation and Compliance department as appropriate.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a good academic background, ideally educated to A Level or Graduate standard, or with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a comparable role, within the financial services. Applicants will be enthusiastic about developing further and attaining relevant qualifications. The successful candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office and will be confident to learn to operate new systems. This will suit a professional, organised and committed team player, who pays attention to detail on all tasks and who can prioritise workloads efficiently.
